Nova1Net Billing Upgrade — Here’s What’s New and Improved

As we continue to invest in the Nova1Net community, we prepare for two exciting milestones — a billing system upgrade on Nov. 25 and a transition to the Sparklight® brand beginning this winter.

This upgrade brings you new tools, easier ways to manage your account and pay your bill, additional payment options and a more seamless experience overall.


What’s Changing?

Here’s what you can expect after the upgrade Nov. 25:

  • A new 16-digit Sparklight account number
  • Access to a new online customer portal and the MySparklight app
  • Our Quick Pay option for one-time online payments without logging in
  • New in-person payment locations at MoneyGram, Western Union and select Walmart locations
  • More-accurate tax calculations based on your 9-digit ZIP code

Important Dates to Know

  • Nov. 18 – Dec. 1: Please do not make changes to your Auto Pay payment method during this period as our system will not be available.
  • Nov. 24: The upgrade takes place. Please don’t make one-time payments (online or by phone) this day.
  • Nov. 25: Your upgraded Sparklight account will be available.
  • Dec. 1: You’ll receive your first bill from the new system.

What You Need to Know About Payments

Before the upgrade

You can continue to pay your bill just as you do now — Auto Pay, online, by phone, by mail, or in person at your local Nova1Net office.

During the upgrade (Nov. 24)

Our systems will be temporarily unavailable. Please avoid making one-time payments (online or by phone) on this day.

After the upgrade

Starting Nov. 25, you’ll have new and improved payment options:

  • Online portal and MySparklight app: Manage your payments, enroll in Auto Pay and paperless billing, or make one-time payments with Quick Pay.
  • New in-person payment locations: Pay at MoneyGram, Western Union or participating money-service vendors inside local Walmart stores.
    (Be sure to include your new 16-digit Sparklight account number.)
  • By mail: Please use the new remittance address on your new statement.
  • By phone: You’ll have access to our fully automated system, while still being able to speak with friendly representatives if needed.

Note: Payments will no longer be accepted at the local Nova1Net office after the upgrade.


Auto Pay Customers

If your payment method is current (and not American Express), your Auto Pay should continue without interruption.

After the upgrade, your draft date may shift slightly by a day or two. We recommend checking your next billing statement or your new online account to confirm.

Important Auto Pay reminders:

  • American Express will no longer be accepted. If you currently use American Express for Auto Pay, please update your payment method before Nov. 18 or after Dec. 1.
  • If you use a third-party payment service (such as your bank or credit card provider), please update your payment settings with your new 16-digit account number and remittance address after the upgrade.
  • You may receive legitimate billing emails from our trusted payment partner, U.S. Bank (sent from sparklight@billerpayments.com). We’ll never ask for your login info or for you to click links in an email.

What’s Not Changing

  • Your current service plan and pricing will remain the same.
  • You’ll continue to log in to Sparklight TV and the Sparklight TV app using your existing credentials — no updates needed.
  • You’ll still receive the same friendly, local customer service you’ve always known.

What Happens Next

We’ll send you a follow-up message with simple steps to set up your new online account, including how to register, create a password and get started.

Once you’re logged in, you can:

  • Review your new statement
  • Re-enroll in Auto Pay (if needed)
  • Download the MySparklight app
  • Manage your services, billing and preferences
